Superheroes United is dedicated to creating a supportive network for families of children with special needs by providing experiences and opportunities for the family as a whole. We provide opportunities for families to learn about and experience a variety of resources and service providers across the province through facilitated group sessions, sensory-rich experiences, and play-based learning. By building stronger families, we believe we are building a stronger community. 

This program came about by a need that was identified for adapted recreational equipment in our day care environment.  It did not take us long to see the need for this equipment reached further than just the children in our day care setting.  Equipment that is designed to help people with mobility issues could be a huge asset to the community.  both adults and children could borrow this equipment in the evenings and on weekends to participate in family outings, community events, or just a walk with family.  For more information please view our Out and About Brochure below.
